Who are the Mackne Voice Providers?
At the beginning of 2009, two friends got together and thought about the idea of an UTAU group based on the iPod series by the company, Apple. During this time, the idea of Mackne Kioshi and Mackne Kyou were being put together, but because of school, the two were put on hold. InochiPM met a new friend in high school, AZUSA, and they got together with and made Mackne Sae and Mackne Sai, twins of light blue hair based on iPod Nano Touch.

In the latter half of 2010, they began to record Sae and Sai. Shortly after, Mackne Sae was fully recorded, marking her ACT1. However, before long, disaster struck, and Sai's ACT1 was accidentally removed from the Mac laptop they were using to record and had to be rerecorded from scratch.
In the first half of 2011, InochiPM & AZUSA had two new ideas for additional family members named Mackne Mama and Mackne Neneki. Mama is the matriarch of the family, and Neneki is her youngest child. (Kyou is the eldest sibling and Kioshi is the second eldest.) Around this time, they found someone to record the voice of Kioshi, one of their best friends named Amatsu.
Shortly after creating Mama and Neneki, recording started for Mama's first VB by a friend known as Akisame. She also recorded for a character named Momo, the younger version of Mama. Neneki, however, was finally named in late 2013 and voiced by Mika, a user from DeviantArt. However, they lost contact with her early 2014.
At this point, only a few voicebanks had developed. Eventually, Kyou received a voice from Akisame's friend named Austin.
In the second half of 2013, a character named Mimi was adopted. She was introduced as the adopted daughter, making her the second eldest of the second-gen.
After Kyou received his first voicebank, and at the end of 2015, they added Mackne Naga, Mama's estranged husband.
After the family was completed, some character additions were created and revealed: Two mysterious twins, Mackne Wewe Blue and Wewe Purple; Naga's personal secretary, Mackne Reko; Kioshi's son from the future, Ryoma; the family's secretary, Mackne Ruko.
In mid-2016, they launched a new project with revamped designs and voicebanks. The project finally kicked off at the start of 2017, with the release of Mackne Sai rePAX.
As of late 2017, updates for the other family members are slowly coming in.
